With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, the majority of my career has been dedicated to land management, environmental management and sustainability. I began my professional journey with Network Rail, where I was involved in pioneering environmental projects and trial sites focused on developing innovative land management techniques across the railway estate.

Throughout my career, I observed that while larger organisations were making significant progress in sustainability and environmental management, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) lacked awareness of both their environmental responsibilities and the commercial benefits of adopting sustainable practices. The environmental letter was tagged on the back of HSQ to become HSQE and we believe its time E stood on its own 2 feet.

Recognising this gap, I established Eden Contract Services to support SMEs in improving their environmental performance. We work closely with businesses to undertake gap analyses, identify opportunities for improvement, achieve relevant industry     accreditations, and develop robust sustainability and environmental management systems that support long-term compliance, growth, and operational excellence.
